Welcome to the first annual Women's Research Engagement Network Summit. This event is first interdisciplinary research conference in the nation specifically focused on highlighting the achievements of undergraduate women. Our attendees join us for a day of events focused on female empowerment, women in academia, and celebrating the achievements of women at Northeastern.

See below an outline of the day's events for the WREN Summit!  All events  are located in the Curry Student Center (ballroom, pit, and assorted classrooms).

Poster Presenters Check-In + Set Up (Pit)

General Registrants Event Check-In + Refreshments (Ballroom)

Event Welcome with WREN Executive Director, Nicole Page (Ballroom)

Keynote Speech on Women in Academia from Dr. Adrianna Crossing (she/they), PhD (Ballroom)

11:45 - 12:30 PM
Student-Leader Led Workshops from Women in Tech (Curry 334), EconPress (Curry 346), and Women In Business (Curry 333). Choose to attend your favorite workshop!

12:30 - 1:30 PM
Poster Session and Lunch. Grab your lunch in the ballroom and eat there or in the Curry Pit! Before or after you eat, head to chat with our amazing student researchers.

1:30 - 2:15 PM
Featured-Talks from Student Researchers. Attend 15-minute talks from different students deep diving into their work!

Attend the Summit

Any member of the Northeastern University community is invited to attend the WREN Summit, including students, faculty and staff. You did not be need to be involved in research to attend the WREN Summit, as the event engaged with topics relevant to women in all fields and disciplines. In particular, our events promoted discussions related to work/life balance and women in the workplace.

Student Research Showcase
